Approved Attire:

  • All clothing must be of appropriate size, worn modestly, and in good repair.
  • Long or short sleeve black, royal blue, gray, or white polo shirt from The Uniform
    Source, Eagles Nest, or athletic team store. All tops must have the
    school-approved logo visible on the upper left side.
  • Long sleeve white or blue oxford cloth shirt from the Uniform Source
  • Khaki, navy, or black pants or shorts
  • All khaki pants, shorts, skorts, and skirts must be in traditional khaki color (These
    may be purchased from any vendor.)
  • All skirts and shorts must be BELOW fingertip length with your arms at your side
    (This applies to BOYS and GIRLS.)
  • Solid white, khaki, blue, gray, or black socks
  • No caps, hats, or hoods are permitted in the building.
  •  

Approved Outerwear:

  • Polo or oxford cloth uniform shirts must be worn under all outerwear.
  • Solid black, gray, white, or royal quarter zip, stadium jacket, windbreaker, or crew
    neck sweatshirts with the school logo purchased through The Uniform Source,
    Eagles Nest, or approved items through athletic team store.
  • Hoodies are NOT approved outerwear. They are allowed only on Spirit Wear
    days.

 
Spirit Wear:

  • “Spirit Wear Day” is designated as the final school day of every regular week
    (typically Friday).
  • T-shirts and all outerwear worn on Spirit Wear Day must be purchased from the
    Eagles Nest, given by Jackson Christian, or athletic team store. Shirts acquired
    by various clubs/groups are subject to approval by the administration.
  • Jeans (with NO holes) are allowed as part of Spirit Wear Days.
  • T-shirt and sweatshirt hoodies are allowed on Spirit Wear Days.

 
Specific to Elementary:

  • Closed toe and closed heel shoes
  • Boots (Students will be responsible for bringing athletic shoes to participate in
    P.E.)
  • “Modesty” shorts/compression shorts should be worn under a skirt
  • A jacket that is not approved as outerwear (another color, etc) may be worn to
    school and recess but must remain in the student’s cubby or backpack during the
    school day.
  • Hairstyles should be neat in appearance. Hairstyles may not cover the eyes.
    Administration reserves the right to ask students to get a haircut.

 
Specific to Secondary:

  • Belts are required for boys.
  • All boys’ shirts are to be tucked in and long enough to remain tucked in
    throughout the school day.
  • Boys are not allowed to wear earrings or fingernail polish.
  • Visible body art or body piercing is not allowed.
  • Hairstyles and facial hair should be neat in appearance. Hairstyles may not
    cover the eyes. Administration reserves the right to ask students to get a haircut.
  • Sandals with a heel strap are permitted. Flip-flops, crocs, or slides are not
    allowed.

 
Specific to Girls:

  • Jackson Christian black cardigan sweater from the Uniform Source
  • Gray or black polo dress with logo from The Uniform Source
  • Approved Jackson Christian brand plaid skort from The Uniform Source
  • Khaki or black skirt, skort, or capris. All skirts and skorts must be below fingertip
    length while standing.
  • Solid white or black, opaque, non-ribbed leggings or tights can be worn under a
    skirt or skort. Solid white knee or bobby socks are also acceptable.
  • Leggings may only be worn under a skirt. They are NOT to be worn as pants.
  • Girls may wear an appropriate number of earrings in the conventional manner.
    All other types of body piercings are not allowed.

 
All questions and concerns relating to the appropriateness of dress and personal grooming at school shall be determined by the administration.
